December is turning in to a busy month, have we decided on 8th Dec for this?

Um, it's my birthday, so while I'd love to have a MEMWNS Christmas Curry on the day, I don't think I could get away with it! Other Wednesdays are available - but memories of previous such events suggest a Friday night might be better!

Yet again I am now in Brigg for the 8th! I'm hoping my head cold will have gone by then!
Regards,

Joergen

I could do the 15th for a festive curry.

I'm MTB'ing that day so not sure I'll be around... but it has potential as at least I'll be in Essex!

15th is possible; still prefer a Friday I think?

Everyone else seems to be cancelling Xmas (or at least the usual December events that go with it) so we should be far more available than usual.

I suspect we might have to fit in with the availability at the eatery ?  After next week I am not expecting to be in North Lincs this side of Xmas, but never say never!

I would rather go with a Wednesday i.e. the 15th although Friday 19th could work but as jibers says getting into a curry house might be tricky.  A Wednesday would probably be easier.  I'm happy to sound out Omars or anywhere else folks fancy.

What are the 3 days called between Wednesday and Friday in your calendar?

I can’t make the 15th, but suspect the venue might end up being too far east in any case.

So, it looks like I could be available this week (8th) and next (15th)

So what's the plan for this Wednesday?  And is curry still an option for the 15th?

I am keen to be awheel this week and next.

The forecast is not marvellous for this Wednesday so an EER venue would be ideal.

Curry either week works but we seem to be missing people both weeks.   Actually, the only person we need is AndyC3333333333333333 and his magic purse.  The fewer of us that turn up, the more per head he will be able to lavish on us.

While rehydrating after plodding round the SAE on Saturday the venerable AndyC3333333333 and I discussed The Vine (now sadly minus the fun minstrels' gallery) in Black Notley as a destination that should be visited again, it might just qualify as an EER venue.

The Vine would be good if it satisfies everyone else.

The Vine is an 80k round trip for me so I am not including that within the EER radius - at least not while the weather is like it is just now and I am this unfit.

Does anyone from the eastern side fancy something closer to Colchester - Olde Albion, Alma, Sun...

I'd be happy with Sun or Alma as it gives train assist options.  I also have fitness issues largely associated with me being a lazy arse these days.
