Two spots on the commute this morning:

Crock of Gold spotted at Tooting Bec, but traffic meant I couldn't catch him till Clapham, then we rode together to Oval.

A short while later, I spotted a Brompton in what they call Turkish Green, but might be mistaken for Celeste. It was, of course, NSTN on her new commute.

Sometimes it's worth being a few minutes later on the commute.

Someone who was the spitting image of Richard (FWC-organiser) Phipps (occasionaly OTP, phixie) - battling through the traffic off Piccadilly this lunchtime on a bright chrome machine (fixed I assume!).

Not a clone - 'twas the original! Sorry I didn't spot you Marcus, but we out-of-towners have to concentrate on the traffic.

I thought I'd make the most of the weather before it breaks again to visit Tokyo Fixed.

And yes, that machine is fixed, with just a front brake; hence the need for concentration.

Not of this forum, but I was passed by a familiar knee bandage/Colnago combo yesterday, and happily the traffic lights allowed me to catch him up. Very pleasant surprise.

Whilst on our way out on the mid-Essex mid-week ride to the Curry House, we bumped into токамак on his way home form work. Happily he was travelling in our direction for a couple of miles or so and wasn't travelling at full speed, so we were able to catch up with him for a bit

(both literally and metaphorically).
