A virtual, or should that be paper, spotting of Oscar's Dad - I think! He slid through my letterbox this morning...

Which reminds me: Any VeloVision readers will have spotted MFWHTBAB.

On the cover! :smug:

Too many to mention today. Probably at least 50...

All at Loughton, by any chance?  I spotted too many to list :-)

Indeed. I said "Hello, do you have your rider number?" to 300+ people, many of them yacfers, plus a lot of yacfers helping out.

Hoping to top up on Thursday night/Friday morning at Loughton.

You probably won't be surprised to hear that the transformer pictured as a load on the cover was MFWHTBAB's own, being gifted to Pete Eland for his workshop.  Compared to some of the loads he's carried, it's positively tiny!

I spotted him too! :D

That's got to be a scary experience in the morning if you're not prepared.  Was he in a plain wrapper with appropriate warnings on it?

That Pippa, this evening.
Just south of Westferry Circus - inevitable, given my commute - sooner or later it was bound to happen - in my view.
Scored a glass of rose and freaked her sister.
Double result
Good to see you.

Torslanda, plus clan, at our house yesterday.

It had been far too long (over 6 months) since we had seen them and we had a great time, talking shite and eating food...

Mcshroom, crinkly lion, lantern rouge, London Edinburgh London, feline, simonp, sandyv, greenbank. To talk to, chriss  and fboab at a distance taking to crinkles. And someone else (male, Slim, Long pony tale) in a black jersey who I didn't speak to, being an anti social sort. (Me that is, not the spotee)

Possibly me. I was wearing my black yacf jersey with reverse chevrons on registration day. I didn't spot too many yacf shirts that day. You should've noticed that the pony tail was a braid though.
Forgive me Father, for I have sinned. It has been too many days since I have ridden through the night with a brevet card in my pocket...

I saw Chris S and fboab going in the other direction in Usk.  Was MattC in Usk too then?  Quite fun seeing other audaxers on another audax crossing paths

Good thing we got that the right way round!

BTW 6 months is way too long. an awful lot can happen in that time.

I just saw this today via Velovision.  Was it the baraktacycle or another?  I thought the rack bag looked vaguely Carradician.

You: Black YACF top and a folder waiting on Heygate St.

You waved and I shoutd hello,  sorry I was running late so didn't stop to chat.

Yes it was me but I'm sure you were dressed in purple! I knew it was you as you'd been pointed out to me on the freecycle though we've never actually been introduced.

Nah, I was just north of Yat Rock. Routechecking Severn Across bits with 2 other forumites from That London (who DibDib had passed fixing a flat).

So this all suggests we had 3 interlocking Audax routes (albeit one 3 months from its proper date). Any advance on that?

(obviousy there are higher crossing numbers, but you have to see some riders for it to count!)

Spotted on Temple Meads station earlier, this man with YACF-branded luggage (widdershins edition, so presumably a visitor from abroad):

Wobbly John in Ely & District CC colours leaving Littleport, negotiating the roundabout on the A10.

Since it is Tuesday, was a Tuesday Night TT on the cards?

Just noticed this - I was on my way to the Mepal start of Ely's evening 10 mile TT on the summer fixie. Not to race, but to shove the riders off at the start.  :smug:

I hope to race this week.
