~60km routes around Llandrindod Wells?
« on: 27 April, 2023, 01:33:06 pm »
A couple of friends and I have a week booked in a house near Llandrindod Wells at the end of May - originally intending to encompass TINAT, but obviously that's not happening now.

Having ridden a couple of the TINAT 100km events previously, we can repeat those during the week at our leisure.

I'm looking for a few shorter routes - something like 60km, but a bit more is okay, to get us warmed up.

Don't want mountain biking, but some gravel or short sections of comedy off-road are fine.

Would rather not have to drive from Llandrindod Wells to get to the start of a route, but wouldn't rule it out for something special.

Any suggestions? Thanks.

This is 105km and passes through Llandrindod Wells, but you could shorten it after Knighton to bring the distance down.

If you're saving Elan for the longer rides something like this...

Indeed, two of my favourite days on the bike.
