Finishing at a Southall curry house would be right up my street. Steaming.

Thanks Matt

Yes, it looks good so far. Hopefully next year I'll have a pop at the 200!

Does anyone know a good cafe open at Chinnor on sunday. Was planning to cover the first 150Km with out a major stop.

No Cafes open in Chinnor on a Sunday. Your only option is that there is a petrol station with a small CoOp behind it.

The thing I remember about Chinnor from my days of working on restaurant and pub guides is that it has a very good pub - the Sir Charles Napier.

You'd probably need to book a table though, and it's perhaps a wee bit more upmarket than the usual cyclist's fare of beans on toast.

On the corner roundabout in Chinnor, station rd used to serve food till 4pm on Sunday..

Didcot is a free control (recommended Station Spa shop) but alternatively there's a Supermarket Garage 400 meters further on the RHS.

Chinnor Garden centre closed over a year ago. As far as Pubs there is either the Wheatsheaf, Crown or Red Lion all of which do food. My choice would be the Wheatsheaf.

Why use last year's thread rather than the one for this year's event?

The Fox & Hounds, by Christmas Common is brilliant, but stop lunches if busy so need to book if arriving late...
