I thought 30xSR was an uncommon total.
Yebbut, you don't get a badge or nuffink.

3 more years……

Might not bother if there’s no badge.  Also not getting any younger.

I would have thought an engraved AUK tankard would be nice for getting to 30xSR, maybe an AUK labelled tea-mug for 20xSR.

Brevet 25,000 award received. Nice.

When I think that means 25,000km of events ridden it seems ridiculous.

If one does 2x200, 2x300, 2x400, a 600 and a 1000+ in a season, well obviously it is at least a SR and a SR2500, but is it 2xSR and a SR2500?

It's 2 SRs but there's no official recognition (except in your results list) of multiple SRs in one year, you'll just be an SR - You will get the other awards.

There used to be an unofficial list (created by Francis) of 'Hyper SRs' - meaning those who gained SR status with just 600s & above.  But it seems to have got lost in the move to the new website.

Random fact: I was motivated to gain a hyper SR by Jack Eason who usually qualified for PBP with 4x600s.
You're only as successful as your last 1200...

Crivens, what's wrong with just claiming a 2nd/3rd cloth badge?

That gets a bit boring, don't you think? Even 5xRRtY and 10xRRtY get a different cloth badge to the plain RRtY. 30 years of SRs sounds like it might be worth a little more than a £1 badge.

Ok Ok different cloth badges?

I'm dissapointed that some awards are metal badges without cloth badges.

I may over value cloth badges, I'm used to seeing metal cups, plates and glass trophies as clutter, dad got to the point of storing them in the spare saab 96 shell in the driveway, like what am I going to do with a second randonneur 10k if I ever do it?

At least the crampon and tin of spam are to be returned

I've looked at that a couple of times, in PBP years where I have had a 1200 plus 2 x600, but am thinking of giving that a proper go next year.   Have warmed Mrs CET to the idea.  Just waiting for the calendar to evolve to decided which ones.

Thought I was going to be Hyper this year, but then failed to complete London Lands End and PBP, so just ended with 3x600s. I suppose I could still do a DIY600, but time is running out. (Days will soon be shorter than nights)

I think its here http://www.aukweb.net/results/detail/this/srh/ [Edit - by changing "this" to the relevant year in the url gets details for prior years, just tested it for my 2010 HSR  ;D]

Though how easy it is to navigate to from scratch I honestly dont know.  I found it through this thread - > https://yacf.co.uk/forum/index.php?topic=7466.msg2424035

(earlier this evening) Postal services at the door, with a smal parcel. I don't expect any parcels but yes, that is my name and address  ???.

Inside two lovely plastiques: Randonneur 10000 for 2022 and a Brevet 25000 that I claimed just shy of a year ago. Really cool, I didn't know there were actual physical awards to be earned!

Now, for 2023 I already have 10k points validated and once the PBP homologation is official I also meet the requirements for my 2nd Brevet 25000

I love it when the recipients weren't expecting anything. I had the pleasure of delivering a Randonneur 10,000 by bike last week and the chap looked a bit shell shocked. Don't think anyone had knocked on his door for weeks.
There are physical awards for Randonneur 10,000; Randonneur 100,000 and Brevet 25,000 too. The first of these is awarded automatically while the latter two have to be claimed, and these trophies are only made well after the end of the Audax season in which they're claimed so there can be quite a delay. Ordinarily they would be presented at the Reunion and only a few would need to be delivered by post/bike or over a curry. Lucy McT has a couple in hand for the Northern Reunion, too.

I should follow up, since I was nagging about it. A while back we received, what I assumed was another beer order I'd forgotten making, but was in fact our quite hefty, his'n'hers, AAA trophies!

So, thanks AUK.

I didn't realise you were a couple until I'd packaged up both trophies and printed the address labels. Could have saved AUK a few pounds if they were combined but it was too late by then!

Haha sorry about that (you could've filled the other box with beer). Pretty sure we are joined/registered as a "family", because we only get one copy of the magazine but I guess it's maybe not that common to get a double act like this? I'm pretty sure it won't happen again (at least not by us!). Thanks for the trophies anyway - they look very cool.
