It seems to be fashionable for the bike to wear flashing lights, and 'driving lights' on cars, nowadays.
Since I like to keep at the cutting edge of these things, I would like to equip my bike.
Unfortunately my Aberdonian heritage has led me to acquire various rather useless cheapo items.
I bought several of this type, ultra cheap and light, but short battery life, so used in rotation:

I had 2 cob rear from Aldi, which is ok, but lost one on the Gairnshiel somewhere last month.
And I had varous 2xAAA rear in the past.
So I am looking for advice on buying:
- front+rear flashers,
- how many lumens?,
- rechargeable lasting say 12 hours run time.
- easy fix on bike
Are any of these any good?

- Or should I step up to Lezyne, Exposure, Bontrager?

I commute everyday, all weathers. Every light I’ve had dies from water ingress, other than exposure. They don’t have the best beam shape or temp (for me) but I don’t have to replace them every year.

You will get loads of opinions on this topic.
I’m using this https://www.planetx.co.uk/i/q/LIPXBBBPRODUAL/planet-x-burn-baby-burn-pro-dual-front-light
Lots of light, compact and really good run times with the high capacity battery

I use Exposure Trace and Trace R after discovering that they are what the very visible road rats around here are using.

Oh, I like those. If I was still touring/camping/audaxing, I'd be ordering now!
