....which allows the recipient to only view that image, and not the rest of the images in my Flickr acct?
I'm sure that I've done this before - just cannot figure it out at the moment.
TIA

I think all you need to do is press on the share arrow and copy the link
https://flic.kr/p/iLLtBj
That should show you just one of my pictures
-
Ignore that it didn’t work :(. Not used Flickr for a while

It does.
So, the first of the four options available out of share, embed, email & BBC Code?

Correction - it shows me all of your pics.
This appears to work:
Click a photo to open it.
Click the Download icon.
Click View all sizes.
Click on the size you want to see.
Right-click the image.
Select Copy Image Location or Copy Image URL (text may vary per browser).

How about this https://flic.kr/s/aHBqjAFEEs
-
I copied the photo to an album and then shared the album.
For most image sharing I use postimages.org that does what you want. And is easier to use than Flickr
-
I think if your photos are 'public', then the whole world can see them.
The sharing link just provides a front door into your account, where they can browse around as they see fit.
Anyone else can too, if they browse around in flickr.
I think you'd need to set all your pics to 'private', then sharing using a Guest Pass would only show those images.
Or something like that.

That appears to work as well.

From there, you can just click the link at the top: <- Back to Albums List, and I can see all your pics.

My post, 5 posts up works - but you encounter a load of text on the page which you might not want.
I cannot seem to get just the image on its own.

It may well have been this issue or the complexity of getting round it that made me stop using Flickr…

You can pull the actual address out of the BBCode. It's between the <img> brackets (replace triangles with squares).
E.g.

Yes, I use BBCode link. Clicking on share arrow underneath pic, then select desired size for BBCode linked image, copy & paste... But you also get link next to image.
Edit. Will use Sam's method... :) Link extracted from BBcode... unless it's useful to click for higher res.
