Hopefully this isn't answered already; I have searched, honest.
I've been trying to get the app onto my Android 'phone.
It seems to download OK, I enter my email and password, the ebrevet number for the audax (Cheshire Safari tomorrow) but it won't download anything. Instead i get "an error has occurred" message.
I've deleted the app and tried again as above. Still the same message.
Any clues/suggestions please ?

Hi Andrew - first of all can you check your credentials if you haven't already done that - from settings choose "Test credentials". Once you have done that and got a success message, please try again, with the code 23-138 in your settings (as I am sure you already have).
It's tricky to diagnose but the man who can look at the code says that incorrect credentials or bad connection might cause that issue, so it is worth checking that first. I have tried the same brevet code and it works for me so there is nothign fundamentally wrong with it.

Do you mean 23-138? It's downloaded OK for me.

Sorry my typo, yes it should be 23-138, corrected now

I've done the "test credentials" thing several times.
I get the "An error occurred" message.
I'm using the correct code for tomorrow's audax.

What version of Android are you on? Dave might be able to confirm if it supports it.
-
Android 12.
Strangely enough, I have a new 'phone on order.
Bit late if 12 isn't good enough I know !
Frankly, I only want E-Brevet to avoid diverting to Sealand to get a receipt !
Lazy I know but this is my first audax in, seemingly, forever.
Also, I have to admit that I'm not looking forward to it but I could say the same for most all of the audaxes that I've done........

Is your phone on Wi-Fi or mobile data? Is E-Brevet enabled under mobile data? Turning off Wi-Fi and disabling the latter permission I was able to get the “An error has occurred” message.

I'm at home and the 'phone is connected to my home WiFi.

Need to email Dave then as per app support email and see if he can help you.
