Title: Campsite recommendations in the Tring / berkhamsted area
Post by: Polar Bear on 11 January, 2024, 09:43:11 pm
Looking for something for a few days in spring.  Recommendations most welcome.

I already know of Watlington which is stretching it for the area I have in mind as one of friends lives in Hemel and will be limited primarily by the train.

https://hillfarmcampsite.co.uk/ any good?  I've not stayed there, but the clue appears to be in the name...

Looks like it has potential.   Thanks.  👍

Mr R was looking at Town Farm Camping (https://www.townfarmcamping.co.uk/contact/) recently.  Looks quite nice and not too far from Tring

Fuzzy’s Farm and Highridge Farm are decent locations and not far from Hemel (arguably walkable). I have no experience of camping at either- but often pass them while running (Highridge is on the Ashridge Boundary trail with great walks and views)
