Broke the lighting tent out and grabbed a quick couple of shots. These have received very minimal PP, and could really do with it to 'finish' them. First image is the clear winner, although next time I'll remember to use the front door on the lighting tent for those reflections on the lids!

I think the mascara could have done with lighting a bit better - I know exactly what I'd do next time (illuminating the back of the light tent from the rear, then reducing the intensity of the flash head on camera left to introduce some more shadow thrown behind the mascara).

Not a bad first effort, me thinks.

Light on the cap is quite hot. You might want to use a bit of feathering on th outside of the light tent so the reflected part is a bit darker.

Mascara has the background well over blown out needs to be just over the white limit.

Light, Science and Magic is your friend.

The highlights are terribly blown in the top one, and there's not enough light enveloping the front of the subject, sorry.  You can also see the light source very clearly in the right hand lid.  A very commendable effort though - this stuff is difficult to do, which is why a lot of organisations still pay commercial photographers a lot of money to do it properly.
