I've been browsing the Eurotunnel website to find out how cheap 'n easy it will be to pop over to France for a weekends riding (very and very, it turns out ).
Anyway. As part of the online booking process, you have to tell them how many pets you are taking. There are two categories:
Dogs, cats or ferrets @ £30 each and
Registered guide dogs @ £free
Hang on, "...or ferrets" ??? Huh? Is this some sort of 'if you can put a leash on it you can pay us 30 quid' kind of thing?

What about registered guide ferrets?

What about registered guide ferrets?
Well, exactly.

Ferrets can be chipped and have pet passports just like dogs and cats.

I've just had a great idea for a film. Terrorists strike the Eurostar at 180mph.
It's...Ferrets On A Train!
If DavyD were here he'd knock up a quick Photoshop of the movie poster.
