Title: Pub meet up in Stroud or Dursley?
Post by: Vince on 31 March, 2015, 02:22:22 pm: I'm in Gloucestershire next week and wonder if any Denizens of Stroud, Nailsworth or Dursley would like to get together for a drink, perhaps on Wednesday evening?

My knowledge of pubs in the area is well out of date. I know the Old Spot in Dursley used to serve a good pint, but I would be quite happy for other suggestions from those with local knowledge.

May I recommend to the panel though the brewery on Friday and Saturday nights, the beer's good and the pizza is excellent. Failing that the ale house in Stroud has good food and fine beer (no larger or crap cider).

Yep that's the orange flashing comfort of an RAC patrol, starter motor had melted it'self and shorted out the electrics.
