YearRecordTracker app shows TG has now got on to the Prees circuit of the Mersey Roads and is showing 43 miles for today.

Chapeau!

Even though the Mersey team get the results counted before the riders have had their massages, news is always slow to reach the "real" world.
I had a quick look around just incase - nothing yet. The tracker sites are woefully wrong due to the loops, and I can't work out his 24h distance cos I don't know what distance the tracker started the race at!!!
Oh well - I'm sure we'll find out in due course ...
(and sorry Steve, but I very much doubt you won the thing ;) )

Some big miles there. Is this a drafting allowed race?

No

Thanks.
I can only see the top 15-ish there. Steve was well down at the finishing circuit "split".
Looks like SimonP went OK. <this should be on the thread in Racing, Matt ... >

I'm still waiting for official confirmation of Charlotte & Julian's result from 2008 :-\

Rode past Steve a number of times on the ride. I have to be honest and say he wasn't looking too great at any point. From Strava it looks like the final result sheet should show Steve as about 255 miles (a long way from Steve's PB). Steve's mind and body are now in a mode where he instinctively knows exactly the pace to ride at to be able to get up the next day and do the same again, instinct doesn't change just because he's doing a TT.
Go Steve.
