So, not heading in the general direction of France yet then?
-
Seems like it's pi$$ing down there and here.
Maybe northwest is drier...

No appreciable precipitation yet here in Birmingham, but it looks like Steve is reversing yesterday's route...
-
He's turned round halfway to Peterborough. I haven't seen this sort of Crazy Ivan before, I wonder what he's doing?
-
Maybe he realised he was heading for Forty Foot Bank with shite weather approaching and thought better of it :)
-
Sun's just come out in NE Londonton but it was tipping down with added thunderbolts and lightning very very frightening MEEEEEEEEE not long ago.
-
Maybe he's heading home to change out of soggy clothes in anticipation of a dry afternoon?
*Checks clock: Oh it is afternoon. Must have some lunch*
-
Me thinks a Gibbon may be on the cards....

we hope N O T
-
He looks to have pulled a Crazy Ivan onto the A40 near Witney and is now at least pointing in the right direction for a MARSH GIBBON visit.
-
At the moment he appears to be on the A40 northern bypass in the Cutteslowe roundabout roadworks that are causing chaos in Oxford
-
And I hope he knows that the road from Islip to Ambrosden, which in the good old halcyon Marsh Gibbon days he used quite often, is currently closed to cars because they're rebuilding a bridge, and for bikes involves a cyclocross diversion over a field.
-
I reckon a late surprise Gibbon is still on the cards.

It's on strava, looks like one Godwin With 331km on the clock - another amazing day!
