Depends on the size and sophistication of your employers too. Mine is vast and whilst it has very good VPN it also limits the VPN throughput for each user. So throwing a faster ISP link at it would actually not yield any advantage. So check with your IT to save paying for more than necessary.

Calling Captain Zoom: Ok to invite WAGs and HABs along, and any other AUK/ACME chums that aren't regular MEMWNS types?

I don't think there is a problem with cancelling the points championship, but not getting points or SR's prior to the Chairman's announcement will be harsh, some riders have ridden through the winter period & have gained big points totals, that would be a big blow to those riders. If you have longer term goals like R 100,000 those points are crucial, I completed my Ultra RRtY in December, 3 months into the season, those rides were validated & points were added.

Yes perhaps I didnt express it particularly well - cancelling the 19/20 points championship is a relatively straightforward matter but the treatment of accrued points/awards from 1.10.19 - 15.3.20 vis a vis longer term goals is anything but.

Who knows. It's completely different if the lockdown is eased in a few weeks, 6 months or a year or more.

You’re a little ray of sunshine, mate....

I work on an ex-RAF base; like most, the layout is basically 2 runways, joined up with a few newer roads, plus a few extra side-roads, etc etc. Normally you can't walk down the pavements at lunchtime without stepping round people every few yards.

Today I went full Cillian Murphy, walking the length of both runways in the middle of the road. Not a single car. Just saw the one pedestrian in the distance. Just me, the rabbits, pigeons and a few kites. Fuckin brilliant (if a little eerie).

Pretty much as they said. You just get on and ride.

Its a bit odd because when it starts feeling tough, I need to remind myself to take it easier and let the motor take the strain!

Jem has a fondness for getting dirty knees at Hurrells Lane ford, she may be happy to carry out a reconnaissance.

Very public spirited!

I'll point her in the right direction tomorrow morning on her way to work

I wonder if the doggers are still down at Hurrells Lane ford.  You'd hope not as I'm not sure social distancing works with dogging.
No need to social distance with members of the same household van

My brother (AKA The Danbury Dogger) says it's never been the same down Hurrells Lane since huggy sold his white van, you know, the one with the mattress in the back :o

Sulking......

Race bike back on the turbo.   First go in race position since last September and did 90 mins.   Glutes and hips will need some stretching out.
