I fell off tonight.

A bad day at work so I came home the longer off-road way.  700x25 is ok for rough stuff innit?

Going up one steep hill in granny gear I was amused at how the front wheel lifted on every pedal stroke, so was farting around trying to sustain the wheelie.

A while later, on a muddy rough steep track, I wasn't looking where I was going but the view to my right.  I think that the front wheel hit a root/rock just as I put the power down.  The wheel shot straight up to three feet off the ground.  I whipped my head round to look forwards, but that in turn rotated the bike 90 degrees to my left. 

Bike wheels don't roll sideways when you've popped a wheelie

In perfect slow motion I laid down in the mud and then unclipped
