The last 10 finals have been contested by only 6 teams.

and I guess the irony of attaching the flag of St Andrew may be too much to bear at this time..?   ;)
If I could find a little Saltire to flutter from my bike, I would.

Bugger.  I've changed my mind and decided to watch the Ingerlund match after all.
I've left it too late to plan it though.  :(

The only options I have are:
The local big screen footy pub.  Pretty unpleasant even on a normal day.
The Cadbury Club.  Prolly be packed.
My local.  It only has one telly, hidden away in a corner.
Stay in and watch it on my own.  A bit Billy No Mates.
Admission.  I'm actually not that fussed about cake.

MattC chastised me this morning for saying "they're obviously council houses.  You can tell from all the England flags."

I'm tempted to go and watch at Didcot Town F.C, but fear a single beer would see me on the floor after last night! Highly embarassing ...

Very quiet in Sainsbury's during the first half.

Also on the roads on the way home. Most of the traffic was people moving dogs in surprising vehicles.

The handlebar basket on a fairly sporty hybrid wasn't too unusual, perhaps, but then I was astonished to be overtaken by the growl and panting tongue of (wait for it, wait for it)...

A motorbike and side cur.

Not especially helpful or mature

I managed to avoid the Ingerlund game by attending a concert consisting of Dvoraks Czech Suites, and Brahms Requiem (the Brahms was exquisite).

Good call methinks...

Mutto Guzzi?

Wandering along by the river yesterday we were disturbed by the throaty roar of an engine, moments later we were passed by...

a motorpike and side carp.

We think it was an Aquariel Square Four.
