Here's an interesting idea.  Companies pay to have their logo on jerseys given away free.

You don't know what's going to be on it in advance, but I suppose it if you don't like it, you simply chuck it on eBay/landfill.

... and the maker is Owayo - same outfit that make the yacf jerseys ... and made the MacRide jerseys for me - so a good product.

As an advertising medium the idea just about makes sense - loads of logo sponsors paying enough to offset the costs  (from experience you can get jerseys made, fully printed, for about USD$12)

Interesting concept ... but may just be an e-mail harvesting scam (I'm overstocked with Viagra, Rolex watches and copies of OEM Microsoft & Adobe software  :hand: )

I did wonder that - so didn't enter my main email address.

Vagisil?  Anusol? The Daily Sport? Even Nestlé?

The FAQ page states emphatically that it is NOT an e-mail harvesting scam but who knows. I expect it will just come to nothing but on the other hand it would be nice to get an e-mail next year asking where I want my jersey sent to. And if it turns out to be advertising Anusol I think I would wear it anyway.  ;D

Seems genuine to me, but I think it's doubtful that this guy with no track record will get enough (if any!) sponsorship.

Yeah - looking at the domain register it was only set up at the end of June by a guy at Rayleigh in Essex.   That said, having dealt with Owayo I wouldn't have thought they would have got involved with anything dubious ... we'll see.

Have registered with a honeypot email, lets see if it is compromised  :)

The chap behind this* is/was on Cyclechat, seems genuine as he's a real poster on there.

Sudocrem should advertise on jerseys, I contacted Foska about them doing one but they very sensibly ignored me.

*or at least involved with it.

The Hampshire and Bristol jerseys both have advertising on them, but that is all I could find so far.

I'd buy one of those - what is their problem?
