I audax on Look pedals.  I used to use SPDs but when I started doing the longer distances, I found that they didn't give the support that my knees needed.  As for luggage, you shouldn't need more for a 200 than you can carry in your pockets plus a normal seatpack, unless the weather conditions are really crazy.

I have a similar pair of bikes to yours. An ally Scott racer. Very light and climbs easilly but a bit (very) harsh on sub perfect tarmac. Or a much heavier and lower geared Jamis Steel Tourer with rack mudguards 32 c tyres etc etc.

On a short ride on good roads the Scott is faster/ climbs easier but on an all day ride the extra comfort of the Jamis is worth the trade off.

I do 100 and 200 audaxes on either bike and the total time taken seems to end up very similar.

You can get a useable computer for a tenner or less or swap it over if thats not an option.  Its nice to have both bikes ready to go.
