Old nicks which may stir the memory banks?
« on: 04 March, 2013, 08:57:39 am »
From the "good old days" of C+ anyone know if Fatters and Ravenbait  are fit and well? any other nicks you can remember possibly?

Mine at the time was Shen, but am now Poly Hive. :)

Fatters is here of course, and didn't Ravenbait make a brief appearance?

But Ruddy Norah! Whatever happened to Gunner Rodgers?

I haven't seen Fatters for a disappointingly long time, given that his abode is only a couple of miles from mine and we have a mutual interest in beer. He has been posting on here, though, and seems to be in good spirits.

Gunner Rogers is still kicking about here up North, mostly on his mountain bike. He's fine  :)

Excellent news.

I got married (like you do) and now own and run a guest house in the Midlands. Still of course keep bees and run one of the bigger bee sites in the UK. www.poly-hive.co.uk

Shen. Blimey. That takes me back a bit. Hello! And congratulations. Fancying any of the camping events proximal to yourself?

Camping events? LOL we keep a motor home and camp in some comfort...LOL Just came back from a weekend on the High Peaks Trail, not cycling as the wife has a broken toe but walking the dogs and relaxing and also watching the proportion of the sexes.... 60/40 men to women which makes the attitude of a certain magazine rather odd.

If you are alluding to Download we are fully booked and the camp sites and Motor Home pitches are all sold out too we hear.

YUP that's about the size of it though we are aiming to end up back in Scotland eventually when we get this business sold.

The wife is getting into cycling too, though her health holds things back sadly but onwards and upwards. :)

I wasn't sure if this thread was going to be about wounds on the body or reminiscences from prison... After all, where do these people get to?

Ravenbait's still kicking around (and still riding), up in the Chilly Norf.
It takes blood and guts to be this cool but I'm still just a cliché.

That's good news and no doubt as fiesty as ever.

I find getting riding time pretty hard these days, but as I get another job done I think ok tomorrow is a free afternoon. Oddly it seldom is...LOL
