It didn't contain anything I didn't already have to ne fair so you're not missing anything. I already had the bit you need to print out and the only other thing is the pdf at the top of this thread.

The controller will shake your bicycle hard. If nothing falls to the ground, and no rattling noise is heard, you are on the safe side.

Phew, thanks! He'd have to be a body builder to be able to shake it as hard as descending Bains kloof pass at 70km/h. I nearly lost my teeth, but the bike came through fine.

He'll have to be pretty strong to just pick ours up.

You shouldn't have to. I'm still waiting for mine and I'm pretty sure it will arrive in good time for the ride.

You don't need it anyway.  The only things it contains are the pdf document already linked to in this thread and your confirmation of payment - i.e. the document which tells you your start time, your frame number and all the extras you paid for like jersey, BRM SR medal etc.

If you have both of those you will get nothing new.

But if you really must there is a contact email address on their website.

Good luck to you both.  I, on the other hand, will be happy to get to Brest in fewer than 40 hours and back within the  90.
Why should anybody steal a watch when they can steal a bicycle?

Mines a 30-35/35-40h split.

But then what do I know. As a first timer it could all be complete guesswork *

* what is really annoying is that I'll pass by someone's house I know near Carhaix, the day after he goes back home. I could've got food and a quick kip there, although he seems to think that meant a long evening chatting followed by a good night's sleep.
