I'm considering starting a summer cycling tour by flying into Bilbao, riding from the airport to the city centre, then getting the Euskotren train eastwards. I've done the obvious checks on Google Maps / Street View, but there's almost always someone on this forum who's been there & done that. So can anyone with recent experience / local knowledge suggest a good route to ride from the airport to Atxuri station? I'll be on a touring bike, lightly laden, and am happy riding in normal urban traffic.
It'll probably be mid-day, mid-week, late-June.
