I really enjoyed my trip to Kielder and back on the 300k.  As Marlan says this really was a fantastic event and it was a great substitute for my usual Elenydd fix.  There was a bit of drizzle at times but light winds and reasonable temperatures meant that it wasn't a problem.  Many thanks to Paul for putting this on.

Another strong recommendation from me for the 200. We had a dry and bright day for it. It was very hilly, which made everyone a bit slower at first, saving some energy for later on the ride. Lunch in the sunshine at Wasdale head before tackling the last 70km which included a recently surface dressed Birker fell. We therefore had to "take it easy" on the climb to avoid wheelspin. Paul was getting the BBQ going as we arrived back, and there was also other goodies at the finish.   One of the hardest 200's I've done, and I'll be back (with lower gears) if its on again.
