Using proxy server with program which has no proxy setting
« on: 12 October, 2009, 08:05:35 pm »
Miss TC is at Uni, and wants to play a game (EA's Spore). Spore needs to activate over the internet, and also use the internet for online play. However Miss TC is sat behind the Uni proxy server, and the game has no way of configuring proxy settings. It tells her there is no internet connection.

Is there any free ware that can sit between the game and the proxy server, to make the game think it has a direct internet connection?

Thanks

I could do with some too, as we have really crap medical software that can't cope with proxies.
It takes blood and guts to be this cool but I'm still just a cliché.
