London Sightseer Routesheet

Hi,

My wife will be riding from Victoria bus station to Cycle Training UK's premises near Southwark Park this Saturday. Does someone have the routesheet for the anticlockwise (I think) version so she can follow it south of the river from Westminster round past Tower Bridge?

This from the September 2005 version of the ride - should do the job:

Westminster Abbey 
to Parliament Square
Round Sq to 4th exit to cross Westminster Bridge (pedestrians in cycle lane!!!!)
(to walk the embankment descend to River Path here)
L thru barrier Belvedere Road before major junction and SO 2nd barrier also Belvedere Road SO passing South Bank Centre until “No Entry” sign where take Cycle path on L.
At T,  L&R to follow CR 4 down centre of road
Follow CR 4 under railway Bridge
1st L CR 4, R@T, to pass rear of Tate Modern
L@T (cycle lane)
1st L thru No Entry on cycle path
1st L New Globe and R @ river
Rejoin road by Anchor PH and imm L under arch to Golden Hind where R &L alongside ship
Imm L  (Southwark Cathedral) and under bridge.
L@T  Tooley Street
1st proper road L (Cul de sac) Battle Bridge Lane (after Hay’s Galleria) SO on RH bend to river and HMS Belfast and
Control on L at Hornimans at Hay’s have card stamped here.
Opens 11.24        Closes 13.18    38k
Section 3.
Continue along river to pass London Assembly Building to Tower Bridge

.... she can miss out the Control and card stamping

Thanks Rob. Could you give the next few instructions please - say up to the point parallel with Southwark Park. I can then work out where she needs to drop south down to Drummond Road / Clement's Road.

SO thru Tower Bridge to Shad Thames
L at first barrier to river and R to cross foot bridge to L@road  and Bermondsey
Bear R and Imm L sp Thames Path Chambers St, L@T Bevington St,
1st R and Bear L Cycle Route 4 (CR4)
SO thru bollards @ Angel pub CR4
L sp CR4 to River Bank follow down steps
R CR4 to rejoin road where L
SO CR4@ junction
L@T Rotherhithe St and over swing bridge
L@T Rotherhithe St Rotherhithe
