Welcome to the forum.

I'm just going to move this topic to The Dark Side where the 'benters hang out (not that The Knowledge was the wrong place to post, just that the DS is perhaps even better).

Depends what you mean by a bigger gentleman. How big?
I'm not lightweight at over 100kg and I've got a Bacchetta Giro, I'm not far off of the limit for it though.

I believe Windcheetahs also have a weight limit, which is something like 150kg for the standard (Clubsport) model, slightly less for the Hypersport.  If you're talking about height, then the trike is pretty much made to measure, so the main issue is if you're very short like me.

Have you considered donating some leg length to those in need?  Would save an awful lot of faffing about with hacksaws and obscure crank sizes and the like...  ;D

I found the Catrike range from the states best for me. The fact that the frame is one solid piece of engineering and triangulated at several points makes it stiff and durable.

Promulgated weight limit for the Expedition is 275 lbs.

I love mine - give Ian a ring, or drop him an email  at Wheel NV
