That's what I thought. But mine won't charge them. The previous batteries only held the tiniest charge; I assumed they were the culprit but perhaps it's the charger?

Or you've been unlucky and the new batteries are duff as well. Can happen.
Anyway I would try taking them out and charge in a good smart charger.

I replaced mine with some Uniross Hybrios from Battery Logic - seem to work OK.
