Eric Pickles.

What's he done now?

However, I'll second your nomination (on the grounds of Mr Wobbly's very existence).

Should we start a Yorkshire Hall of Shame? Godzone has spawned some real stars.

What's wrong with Brian Clough? I think he was grand.

Ohhhhhh yes!  Dame bloody Judi bitchcow Dench.  She's the only one on the list with whom I have had professional dealings.  And she belongs on the list.

She was born in York, ftr, even though she used to try denying it.

Judi Dench's father was my MILs doctor. He was supposedly quite nice.

I haven't read those contributions to the public discourse, but if they are similar to the crap he's spouted on Radio 4 recently, I agree. He comes across as the sort of old fart that whinges about (among other things) "poofs" and "modern art", as well as all his other vacuous ramblings.

He's on Radio 4 on Monday morning. I think I'll have a lie-in.

I like his paintings, though.

Worth noting how many of Yorkshire's Supertwats actually live in the county.

We're well rid of them.

I think this thread was actually invented for Chris Moyles.

The first nomination was Bear Grylls, but I know what you mean.

Bear Grylls sounds like something that Vladimir Putin (another nominee!) would eat to make himself seem dead butch.

I wanted to add Eric Treacy (Bishop of Wakefield) and Wilf Proudfoot (supermarket/pirate radio/trading stamps boss) to the Godzone Country SuperTwats Hall of Shame, but they were foreign.

So I'll go for David Hathaway, god squadder, MI6 agent, smuggler and slum landlord (it was alleged).

Edit: he's foreign, too! (born in london). I knew him when I lived in Dewsbury; I'd always assumed he was local.

 He's still  a SuperTwat.

Keith Peat. He looks bad enough in "On The Road", but a quick Web search gives me the impression that he's an obnoxious, stupid, arrogant, proto-fascist fuckwit.

I came across him purely by chance in the comments to a link posted here. As others have said, he is clearly channeling the spirit of the late pony-tailed geeklord and speedophile.
