Well that was fun - one of the best tenners I've ever spent on bikey stuff :)
(lets ignore the coffee I bought. And pizza. And the beer ... )

As you'd expect, I saw lots of desirable kit, and spoke to lots of interesting and/or cool people. Many AUK and TCR peeps that I knew were present, many not even Bristolians. The talks were probably the USP (although were a very mixed bag).

Some stuff that impressed me (or I had never heard of before):
- The legendary Chris King. He talks like the Neil Young of bearings. Some great views on sustainability - I shall try even harder to justify buying his stuff one day.
- Custom Ti makers in Lithuania https://wittson.com/titanium-bicycle-gallery
- Rob Quirk for his bike-packing tales and for making pretty & appropriate bikes. https://www.quirkcycles.com/
- This research team: http://iberg.recherche.usherbrooke.ca/
- An old 531 frame shown to me by an AUK - this has probably inspired my next purchase far more than all the custom bling  ::-)

If this were TripAdvisor, i'd give it 9/10.

I'm pretty sure that the Lithuanian outfit were exhibishing at the pringle in the Olympic Park when Bespoked was staged there a few years ago.
They were suitably impressive then.

I was told you were in the building, but failed to see you.
I had another chat with Richard Hallett, who's building me a bike.  Also to the man at Golden Age cycles – he's selling a bike for an old friend of mine.  examined SON's offerings, and chatted to (I presume) M Berthoud Jnr.  Said hello to Mark Reilly, and peered at some of the weirder frames.

The very first person I bumped into on entering was Drew Buck.  Several other friends & acquaintances were there.
