IANA expert, but I think travel insurance would cover folks.

Perhaps not the Guiness bill though ...

Travel Insurance only covers costs if you have it.

Ireland Wales tomorrow.  The wind will be at its strongest.  Can't see there being many box kicks etc.
Might be a problem for the Welsh supporters if the planes and ferries home are cancelled.

Oh I don know, I could imagine quiet a few just to test the full back under the swirling wind, you don't need to reclaim, just have the other guy drop it or knock on

I thought the strong wind were forecast for Sunday.

Possibly in the far East.
In west wales ,the yellow warnings for wind are for Saturday, 5he yellow warnings for rain are for Sunday.

In Ireland,  it will be earlier.

Seems I was wrong.  Currently in West Wales it is bright sunny and completely still.

Best summed up by the Beeb's Tom Fordyce in the live text coverage:

I've played in conditions like that, and it felt like making any pass stick was a success

Blimey - just watched England, that was a stressful hour-or-so! At about 50mins, when Eng kept kicking the ball away, I felt the Scots were going to edge it, they just seemed to have all the momentum. And then Hogg almost repeats his grounding error - but at the other end  :o From then on, England seemed to moving the right way. Just.

I'm a bit baffled by the betting on these champs. Pre-tournament odds made sense. arguably:
England: 10-11 (15-8)
Ireland: 4-1 (9-1)
Wales: 6-1 (14-1)
France: 7-1 (18-1)
Scotland: 33-1 (100-1)
Italy: 1,000-1 (2,000-1)

But after England (and Scotland) lost, it went a bit mad:
England !
France !
Ireland
Wales
Sco
Italy
(can't find the exact numbers right now)

Now the odds seem more sane. Apart from the odds on a Welsh Grand Slam:
England 10/11 (Grand Slam winners 6/4)
Ireland 7/2 (Grand Slam winners 8/1)
Wales 5/1 (Grand Slam winners 12/1)
France 11/2 (Grand Slam winners 14/1)
Scotland 25/1 (Grand Slam winners 66/1)
Italy 1000/1 (Grand Slam winners 1000/1)
No Grand Slam winner 1/1.

Still, it's a fascinating year. Even Wales aren't out of the running.

Am I missing something here?  Why are They giving odds on a Grand Slam by a team that cannot possibly achieve one?

It probably appeals to the Brexit voters.

I just watched the highlight of France v Italy. If anyone scores a better try this season than that final Italian one, I will be mightily impressed. Breathtaking stuff from the favourites for the Wooden Spoon.

Am I wrong here?   Italy were in possession when the clock was in the red.  A try would have been their fourth,  so they would have had a bonus point.  If the try had been converted,  itwould have given them a losing point as well.
Ok. Bit of a long shot, but why did they kick it out?

The guy looked sheepish to me. Reckon his team mates were not best pleased. Maybe he’d had enough.

I really really want Italy to win a match. They try so hard.
I think you'll find it's a bit more complicated than that.

The Azzurri really came out fighting after half time, to bugger-all reward :'(  I think they're missing the boy Parisse somewhat.

Far from the first time that 6Nations players have done similar. I put it mainly down to 2 things:
A) they're quite tired, and
B) they haven't grown-up playing to Bonus Point rules, so it's not part of their mental rugby wiring. [see also - high tackles]
C) but mainly (A)
