Bluetooth Adaptor for Mac
« on: May 07, 2020, 09:24:09 am »
Does such a thing exist?
A longer than expected working from home period means I'm trying to tidy my desk and have got a KVM switch so I can put the work laptop out of the way. Working fine except I have 2 keyboards on my desk, the wireless mouse has its own dongle and is switching neatly between the 2 machines. I'd like to do the same for the keyboard next.As both machines are on I don't want to unpair/pair the keyboard each time I switch so I "think"  that I need a bluetooth dongle in the KVM switch so that the Bluetooth adaptor switches over with the screen and the mouse. The problem is all the ones I've found either only list Windows comptibility or explicitly state that OS X isn't supported. Is there a technical reason why my Mac can't use an external Bluetooth adaptor?Running Windows 10 and OS X 10.11.6

Any USB adapter that supports HID profile #should# work
