Anyone here have rough idea of the cost of getting a shop to replace and set up my 5 speed Pashley bike with a 7 speed Nexus hub operation? Any woes to think about or better ideas? A difficult job?

Thanks in advance

Probably quite simple job really. New wheel and shifter (included with the hub) and run a new shift cable.

Not sure what the 3 speed dropout spacing is, but the nexus/Alfine 7 and 8 speed hubs aren’t wildly different to ‘normal’ 130mm. 8 is 132 iirc.

What rear brake does the Pashley have currently? That's the only complication I can think of.
