BCF rankings now updated and I've got my 3rd cat licence now - Never more the 4ths again! Also collected my £30 winnings from the track league and spent it down the LBS.

Horay!

Mrs T went out yesterday, with our next door neighbour, and did 9 miles! The longest she has EVER ridden.

And she's going out again NEXT Sunday!

100% in my latest OU TMA (for M150).

Which is good because out of the 5 TMAs I managed to submit just 2 of them through sheer laziness, but as long as I scrape a pass (40%, not a problem, should get 95%) in the final compulsory CMA (submitted but won't be marked until the 30th) then I'll pass the course which is all I wanted to do.

We've been going through a job evaluation process.  They've (finally) realised that my salary is below the market rate...

... so I've got an immediate £7,000 pay rise, backdated to 1 April 2008, and with a guaranteed £2,000 rise in April 2009.  My October paypacket is going to be huge!  :D

Good news - I got to ride my bike to a meeting in the sunshine, then went to the bank, also by bike, then got a cup of tea before going back to my desk and talking down a potential complaint.  That's all good. :)

Went to a cardio specialist today following chest pains. Apparently, I've got the sort of 'scores' that will most likely result in me being the fittest person they see all year; I managed 19 minutes on the treadmill when people only usually manage 12*!

*They told me that I should let them know when they should stop the treadmill. Little did they know quite how strong my competitive spirit was, although they may have begun to suspect something when I asked what the longest time anyone had done before was!

19 minutes is amazing.

Glad it went well!

Is there a standard treadmill test they use?

Something like 1kph increase every minute?

I'm not entirely sure, but the thing got steeper and faster every 3 or so minutes.

It's usually the Bruce Protocol or a variant thereof.

I had a pleasant surprise in the form of £188.92 in mt bank account, a rebate from Southern Electric. I also discovered a couple of cheques I'd forgotten about (still in date). What should I do with my £220 bonus? :D
