Right you clever lot. Next month have a 90s themed fancy dress party. I don't really like parties or fancy dress but rather fond of the couple so need to put in some effort

Any good suggestions for relatively easy, ideally something my wife and I can go as a pair. I did want to go as Keith from prodigy but wife can't find anything linked. She's suggested red dwarf, her as female Holly and me as rimmer. I'd have preferred the other characters but I'm too white and far too baby faced for male Holly

Maybe something from the 1890's? They didn't say which 90's...

Dress in 1890s clothing and go as John Major's victorian values.
I am often asked, what does YOAV stand for? It stands for Yoav On A Velo

Or as Rees'Mogg's incredible sci-fi future.

Dress up as identical sheep and wear badges saying "Hello Dolly".

That is a rather brilliant idea, may be a little warm

Maybe go as shorn sheep, or with just a few token bits of wool and a pair of sticky-out ears.
I've dusted off all those old bottles and set them up straight

"Nineties-themed fancy dress, isn't that just normal clothes?" - me, earlier.
I spent a week on the Isle of Wight this summer. The best game was sorting the retro clothes shops from the normil clothes shops.
If you tried to organise a 90s themed fancy dress party on the Isle of Wight they would say how are we supposed to know what people will be wearing 40 years from now?

Gomez and Morticia Addams?

Gomez and Morticia Addams?

Is the winner, I'm currently sat here in my (cheap) pinstripe costume. It's blatantly avoiding saying anything like Gomez or Adams family so as not to infringe copyright but even comes with the Thing hand. Will put the fake moustache on closer to leaving as unable to grow a convincing one.....expect the piss to be taken by friends about this

The wife's looking good as Morticia although the wig had to be hidden from youngest monkey who loved it too much
