Cheap Decathlon lock - opinions?

Browsing in decathlon I saw a dinky cheap D-lock
https://www.decathlon.co.uk/p/500-bike-mini-d-lock-grey/_/R-p-119937?mc=8342034
My thoughts would be to keep it on the bike for times to nip into shops, or outside cafes and pubs where you see hte bike for a lot of the time.
I am under no illusions about thieves carrying the tools to cut off cheap locks in seconds when they see a shiny bike.
Am I kidding myself on here and cheap locks like that are useless?
The lock was lightweight and small - which attracted me to it. As my wheels are QR I would not dare leave a bike locked with this for a long period.

They have the "620" model that is rated Silver. Looks a similar size, is closer to £30 but may give greater peace of mind?
How much is your bike worth?

Thanks. I like the Decathlon graphic - it conveys that lock needs a muckle big bolt cutter or an angle grinder to cut it.
