Community Supported Agriculture schemes
« on: January 22, 2009, 10:22:34 am »

Anyone involved in one or had knowledge or experience of one? From what I understand it is a bit like a collective allotment, where the land belongs to a local farmer. You get stuff in season in a box in return for your input to the scheme.

We have discussions about starting one, I'd be interested in anyone's experiences.

If you don't like your democracy, vote against it.

I've heard of this sort of scheme in Germany when organics were beginning to take off, but it feels like it could be complex.  I'd be interested to hear how it goes.
