Mr Josh the cat has had a haircut

Oh dear.

Miss Z the younger found some scissors and gave him a bit of a trim.  There was a big pile of fur.  Thankfully he hasn't actually noticed, and he had so much fur to begin with that he's not particularly thinning anywhere, just a bit uneven.

When he was a kitten (13 years ago) his previous owner's child trimmed his whiskers because she thought they looked untidy and, again, the silly moggy just let her do it.

Hard work sometimes pays off in the end, but laziness ALWAYS pays off NOW.

No photo's?

I've wondered about the whiskers trimming thing before. If they use them to calculate gaps they can get through, does trimming them make them lose weight? Probably not and I'd never experiment.

The fat hairy one here was sedated for a brush recently. We took a carrier bag of undercoat off him. He looks very smart now.

One of these did the job very quickly, just a shame he needs to be knocked out for it.
