Do we know a gent, partial to wearing a pith helmet and riding on a battered well worn, green (?) penny farthing?  Spotted said chap as he was cycling west along Poplar High Street this evening.

Someone who looked uncannily like Bikey Mikey heading west in Deptford this evening. But surely not?
Why should anybody steal a watch when they can steal a bicycle?

Description fits Joff Summerfield.
Location makes sense.
Occasionally otp, I believe.

Ah! Where is Joff based now? I had heard that he was no longer in the Sutton which nestles snugly between Rochford and Southend.

I thought of Joff, but the location surprised me.  Then again, that was based on an assumption of still being out near Southend (and not considering he had cycled to London and picked up CS3 from Barking).

His new workshop is in Trinity Buoy Wharf.
Which kinda fits with the Poplar High Street spot.

Adamski and I are cycling in the Outer Hebrides. So far at the Gatliff in Howmore we met a chap who knows eck OTP. And over the last few days we've kept bumping into a chap and upon chatting to him this morning at the Berneray Gatliff turns out is billplumtree. Small world. Big community.
You must be following the same route as Frances and I did, twelve years ago.  How magical a place is Berneray?  On the beach at Howmore, the wind was so strong, Frances and I played a game of testing how far we could lean backwards into it without falling over.  Did you stay at Rhenigidale?  I would say that I was feeling homesick, except it's not my home!
So glad you have seen Scotland at its best.

Oh!  I did not know that.  Well, I now feel secure in saying "Spotted Joff last night."

Must ask if he's around on Saturdays and welcomes casual visitors - might make for an interesting stop on my TPM.

Just out of interest, was anyone here in Richmond Park this afternoon wearing a jersey with details of a coffee roaster on the back? I think it was either on or just above the centre pocket.

Over the course of the weekend I've spotted Fungus, Deano, fboab, Chris S, SteveVW all at the Den, then CrinklyUncle, Mr Bunbury, FidgetBuzz and assorted others that I hadn't put name to face for all in audax mode and ready to go at York station, CrinklyAuntie who transported us not-audaxers up north to a village hall where we found Sleepy and L Hedley (with a frying pan) later found us then spotted many of those audaxers again, mostly a bit less fragrant and looking a bit more tired, some of whom I did manage to put a face to a name for.

Yesterday afternoon, Steph, resplendent in pink YACF top, employing the 24 inch gear on the pavement near her abode.  I was disguised as a WVM, so not immediately recognisable.

Frank9755, I think.

Astride a British Racing Green steed, wearing a peaked (non-cycling) cap.

This morning, heading east past Paolo's on the Uxbridge Road while we breakfasted within...

Was it you, Frank?
