What's wrong with your bikes at the moment?

Yellow Genesis (S3X): working, although there's a squeak coming from one of the pedals that indicates that a shot of grease may be in order.
Orange Genesis (Alfine-8): working, although the headset is still a bit clicky. An orange Chris King headset has miraculously appeared in the display cabinet at the LBS since my last visit. Bastards!
Green Genesis (singlespeed): working wonderfully well.
Surly 1x1: currently awaiting new rear wheel, whereafter it will become a 2x2
Pugsley: in an advanced state of dismantlement awaiting rebuilt rear wheel and hydraulic brakes.

Can't get the right hand side wheel off the trike.

We didn't want to try anything too dramatic before my German cycle tour. Now I'm back I suppose we'll have to have another go at it with the hammer, especially as I've been immersing it in flood waters along the Rhein!

Take the axle out, pedal up to speed and slam on the brakes?  What could possibly go wrong?

It's the side with the dynohub so can't take the axle out.

It will be a hammer and a piece of wood option I expect. We tried that before I went on tour with no success and I didn't want to be fiercer in case I damaged the trike before the tour. Now it's after I have no excuse!
