Quick vim help
« on: February 20, 2013, 02:49:31 pm »
I am editing /etc/apache2/sites-available/sageold in vim

It keeps coming up as readonly.

What's proper way to write and quit as super user? :wq! sudo doesn't seem to work

It's been almost err 10 years since I used any form of cmd line.

Don't know about vim, but if I were using, say, nano, I'd sudo nano $filename, rather than nano $filename.
