Lee Child's Jack Reacher in 'One Shot' (I believe it was) yesterday.
Having started it around 5pm, my wife and I eventually finished watching it just after 9pm.
We have never, ever, been interrupted so much watching a film. First her sister phoned (after 10 minutes in), then someone knocked on the door selling iced buns to raise money for a local school something-or-other, then we had to prepare supper. Started watching again, then a neighbour called round wanting to borrow a batch of CDs. Okay, off we go again! "Knock, knock knock!" Another neighbour called round, explaining he could get back on the roof when it stopped raining, to deal with the leak with the skylight. Yep, okay, good. He's gone. We start again. No, wait — "Time to have a bath before supper" my wife says, so that's all done. We then sit down again, watching the film having us tea. Phew.
