Congrats to Charlotte and Kim, an outstanding effort there.

I'm going to have to learn to ride one if people keep doing that...

So, about a race in Coventry next June, then?

That's fightin' talk, Mr Hilldodger, Sir  :D

How come you weren't slugging it out in Knutsford, anyhow?

Coventry, eh?

Charlotte, if you get some spokes sorted out, I think there may be an appointment at the SEEKRIT BUNKER for some private tutoring... ;)
Getting there...

The same pix & more in the Montreal Gazette, but still no C or K :(

Did anybody else snigger at Joff's caption?

They should have added to the end "and that was just one of his rides."

Spendapenny were the declared winners at the prize-giving, the challenge wasn't in until after the gongs and photos were done.

I'd say he held his line and the other guy squeezed him, the problem was the looming kerb on the right hand side.

Blatant undertaking, expressly disallowed, and even if he'd had no alternative he should have yelled to warn them.  Clear dangerous riding.  The other guy didn't squeeze him, he had him up his arse before he knew it.

There's no doubt Josef should have shouted a warning, but he's passing on the right as the rules stated and would have avoided the other guy if he hadn't suddenly caught sight of the nasty kerb. The other rider brought down maintains a steadier line through that bend.

Likewise, it did appear that the two riders outside drifted towards the apex.  Harsh, unless he has history.

I interviewed a German rider at the start who described Josef as a bit crazy, and he'd be steering clear of him. The ability range was very wide, some riders were taking it very seriously, others less so.

Indeed the chap was taking it very seriously.  Team YACF had the right blend of seriousness and fun.  Congratulations on your victory and thanks for a splendid day's entertainment.

Hang on, the course was anticlockwise, tight left turns.  Where's that?  Has that vid been mirrored? ???

It's about two thirds of the way along Haines Watts Accountants Lane, the apparent right turn is the entrance to the Competitors Car Park.
