David has just returned from Dorchester on Thames, where he stayed at The George. It was under new management and had been refurbished.
He was delighted with the rubber duck that had been put in the bathroom.
but had no space in his bag for this cute souvenir.
A trip to Norfolk in 2022 resulted in our acquisition of a teddy bear.

The smaller hotel chains seem to be making their guests feel cosseted bytreating them as kids...

Some new solar-powered garden lights have been installed here at Fort Larrington.  Which look like flickering torches in the hands of villagers intent on burning down the mad scientist's laboratory with him inside.
