I am on a train heading North. Survived but didn't really see Mordor central, and will be in Leeds in an hour or so. I have to say I find train travel pretty stressful (because of all the people, I'm an anti-social gig dontyaknow). The nice chilled half a bottle of wine I decided to bring with me is making it an altogether more pleasant experience though!

I have a nice Travelodge room and a 2 day conference in Harrogate to look forward to. I would much rather be going there to ride an Audax thobut!

They keep much longer than normal antibiotics.  No bugger will take them.

It's clavulanic acid potentiated amoxycillin, I could go get the same on the NHS or just pay for my own and save teh NHS the cost and trouble. The brand I have is apparently palatable for dogs but I find it tbh a bit yeasty/marmitesque, but if you'd ever had this condition you would understand why that is the lesser of 2 evils

I have just unblocked the gully outside the kitchen.  By far the simplest way is by hand.  It is best to do this in the dark.  Then wash your hand 5 times and finish with anti bacterial gel.

I'm 'mission control', directing Mrs. F back home from Embra via twisty country roads over the phone.

The A90 main road to Aberdeen is blocked in both directions by some serious muppetry at Stonehaven.
She's been stuck for 3 hours now.

I've directed her onto back-roads I normally cycle on, but which look too improbably small for a rat-run.
I've taken her to places called Tewel, and onto the Auchenblae road, and then via Swanley to the Slug road and hence home.
I like the sound of those names!
