Feeling sore in a variety of places, and very tired. Looking at the mountain of crap. Waiting for the Gaggia to warm up so that I might make some kind of stimulating beverage, but tempted just to go back to bed.
Here's the thing: going to the gym on Friday and rowing 5000m, running 4km, doing 25 push ups and 40 sit ups would probably be ok.
Going out the next day and riding with the tri club, on the front, in hilly Essex hills, and then doing the extra loop with Iron Man Ivan - and on fixed - not so much. Going for a "gentle" swim afterwards seemed like a good idea at the time too.
Ow.
