« on: 18 November, 2008, 01:42:25 pm »
Their newsletter has just dropped in my email box.
They are selling all bikes ('bents, folders, town bikes etc') in their shop at 20% off until xmas.

Rich.

Nothing ordered specially, it would appear, so you're not getting £200 off a Brompton S3L-X  :'(

Doesn't seem to feature on the web site - does one have to be on mailing list?

The Raptobike seemed remarkably cheap even before the 20% reduction  -  so what is wrong with them ?

Please convince me that there really is something wrong with them.

There doesn't appear to be anything wrong with them at all, except that it would occupy space I don't have chiz.

Because a thread about the sale was posted in Dark Side first, it seems people don't realise that there are lovely Bromptons and stuff from Fahrrad Manufaktur on sale as well, and a lovely Surly Big Dummy extracycle. The credit crunch seems to have crimped Stuart's sales from the beginning of this month, and he now needs to clear out some stock to pay his rent and his suppliers! Nothing wrong with the bikes on sale :-)

My mate Joe will be showing off his brand new Brompton M3L on the Wooly & Peli Pootle tomorrow, purchased as a replacement for a bust Dahon...
