Who he?

He wrote The Long Distance Cyclists Handbook, was high profile in the Audax world, generally well known & thought of by many cyclists.

He was seriously hurt in an RTA a while back & is not expected to make a full recovery :'(
Someone clever than me will be along soon to post a suitable link I hope

Who he?
Audax rider, Long Distance Cyclists' Handbook author, LEL 2005 organiser and co-ordinator (I think). Nice chap.
Suffered devastating brain injuries in a traffic collision (hit by a stolen car) in October 2006.
Melita Luxton did a brilliant job of visiting and informing AUKs of progress.
I think he was 46 at the time of the crash.

There's a thread in another place, but it stops about 12 months ago.  He seemed to be making steady progress at that time, does anyone know how he is now?

This item mentions what happened (at least partially) to the scrote responsible.  There is also a news story in the Times about it, but it's much the same information.
Actually, it is rocket science.

From what was announced yesterday, it seems his progress has levelled off.
