they claim to take up to 70psi (which is massooove for 2" tyres).

it will be a career job inflating them.

SKS Bluemels guards for the road bike and some rather fetching blue brake pads for the hybrid in a box from CRC.

Also got my first copy of Arrivée in the post too!

2"x26" Kojaks

If I get time, the Mercian is being reshod with these tonight.
Going into stealth mode, eh?

Fat is fitted.

But just doesn't look fat enough. The front tyre is completely swallowed by the forks. I reckon I could get a 3" tyre in there and 2.5" in the back.

Pfft. Pugsley will be with us soon - I'll show you fat ;D

The fitting kit for my Thule roof bars arrived today, so I guess part of tomorrow will be spent fitting the bars and bike carrier to the motor. In the meantime, if anyone wants a Thule foot pack for a Mk2 (1998-2001) Clio, please let me know ...

RockShox SID 29er front forks for my new mtb build. Got them from Germany for £50 less than any UK site and delivered in 3 days. I'm looking at you Wiggle - you still haven't delivered my handlebars which I ordered a day earlier...

Indeed.  I got a couple of mudguards from Germany, which I couldn't find in the UK at all (limited edition SKS Bluemels), and they arrived today, a couple of days after I ordered them.  Admittedly orders from ChainReaction and Wiggle arrived in around the same time, but a couple of other UK firms are dragging their heels.
Actually, it is rocket science.

Just got an Assos climajet, ladies version in a slightly pink colour, off ebay for £14 - a few marks apparently but hopefully it'll fit the wife, otherwise I'll offer it up here.

The 2012 CTT handbook has arrived.  Now I get to waste hours looking up obscure races that I could enter if I did the training rather than spending my time reading the book.

I've also ordered a new chain and these bars from Planet X, because I couldn't get on with the compact drops that came with the Wilier; I couldn't fit my palms in the drops properly, so they gave what felt like a more upright position than the hoods.

Showoff.  Where's the jealous smiley?

Looks nice. What's that hub?

All I've bought are some spare handlebar attachment straps for my Light & Motion Stella.

Takes me ages to gather the commitment to go through and fill out entries with cheques etc. god forbid they're not in 10 days prior to race day or whatever it is - well backwards, and a complete PITA compared to even audax!

New rear mech
New front mech

New cassette

all of which are boring, but .......

wait for it

CYRAGUARD NARROW MUDGUARDS  ;D
Hopefully these won't fall to bits like SKS P35s always do.

New winter gloves and liners to replace those that self-destructed and were last seen on the floor of Whitby's finest chipshop, respectively.
