Seeing as nobody else has mentioned it, tomorrow is the last Friday of the month.

I didn't have any pancakes on Tuesday, so I fancy some tomorrow.
Won't somebody think of the hamsters!

250km of Audaxing on Saturday starting at 5am so I'll be on the train tomorrow and trying to have an early booze-free night.

I didn't like the last one I went to, but I'm told it wasn't representative, so I may well be along because I *did* like the company and pancakes after, I know that much...  ;D

I also missed out on pancakes on tuesday but that's because I was being a greedy cow with other foodstuffs/alcoholic beverages.

:) But mine starts at 5am with a gentle 75km to the 9am start of a 100 and then another 75km home again after the 100.

Next few months are scuppered too:-
  • March CM: On the train to Oxford for the Dean the next day
  • April CM: On the train to Kidderminster for the Elenith the next day
  • May CM: Will be down in Cornwall having cycled there
  • June CM: On the train to Brum for the Midland Super Grimpeur the next day
  • July CM: Should be rather tired having ridden up to Edinburgh and back in the previous 5 days but you never know...

August?

I intend to be there.

It will be my last CM for a while, as on Monday we move to Cambridge.

Not sure there are enough trustafarians and yoghurt-weaving lefties with bicycles up in Cambridge.

Oh, there are.  :D

I am soft as shite so I shan't be there tomorrow.  I'll be packing my saddlebag and getting an early night.  I've had a long week and CM before Saturday's ride would be a bad move.

BTW, the BFI cafe/bar was shut last Thursday when I last walked past it. If you like a pre-CM beer you may need to look elsewhere.

I'm catching a 7pm train to Reading so I don't have to wake up at stupid o'clock for tomorrow's audax.  Maybe March CM...

Well that was a nice CM. Regulator did a corking job of, well, corking. Nice to see you, and hope to join you on a Cam CM sometime soon.

Yummy pancakes were consumed by Zipperhead, PGtips, Charlotte, Russ and me 'n Woolly. I even managed to snort some pancake; quite a feat.

Zipperhead and young 'un stayed behind to drool at the models shop window, while C, W and I pedalled off westwards. Hope the audax is going well, Charlotte + Liz!

A la prochaine.

They seem to go a lot better now that the met have stopped attending.
